Zion Quartet

My wife Lori and I are the proud parents of two little boys...Hunter and Dalton.  We live in the Keowee Community of Seneca, where we attend New Hope Baptist Church.  We also have a "chi-weenie" (part chiuaua part daschund) named Katie.

When I was 12 years old I was at New Hope Baptist Church one Sunday night.  Rev. Don Smith was preaching.  As he preached I realized I was lost and that I needed to be saved.  When it came time for the invitation I did not go to the altar, but the Lord was still convicting me of my sins.  I went to bed that night, I was literally scared to death to go to sleep because I was afraid I would die in a lost condition..so right then and there I asked the Lord to please save me and to forgive me of my sin.  I know from that moment he saved me and the next week I walked the aisle and made my commitment public.  I am thankful He saved me and blessed me by allowing me to sing in the Zion Quartet so I can share the gospel of Christ with others.

In my spare time I enjoy deer hunting, riding my 4-wheeler, weight lifting, and playing outside with Hunter & Dalton.  My favorite quartet is the Kingdom Heirs and my favorite gospel singer is Arthur Rice.  My family has influenced me the most in my gospel music career...many members of my family sing and play instruments.

Some of my favorites....
food...bacon cheeseburger
tv show...Andy Griffith Show
movie...Shawshank Redemption
sport...college football
season...fall

This past year has been one of the toughest yet as I lost my younger brother, Jason, at the age of 27 back in April.  Through it all, God is faithful..He never leaves us or forsakes us.  Please keep us in your prayers.

God bless.
